How to Use Loopback with Saturn Interfaces?

The loopback feature on the Saturn interfaces is designed to be super easy and user friendly. There's no need to configure a virtual input channel for the loopback feature in your DAW or audio settings. Simply toggle the loopback button, you're all set to capture and record any music or beats from your computer. Check out below quick steps:

1. Toggle the Loopback button to the Green “ON” position.

2. Start playing back your audio files or music beats. Now you can capture and record your computer audio with Saturn Interfaces in a DAW.

3. Once you've finished capturing or loopbacking, simply toggle the Loopback button to the "OFF" position. Don't forget to adjust the Direct Monitor all the way to the USB position to hear what you just captured from your computer. Alternatively, you can set the Direct Monitor to middle position to hear signals from both the input channel and USB audio.

*To prevent feedback loop noise (it’s like the sound a rocket makes when it’s launched), we suggest you always MUTE the input channel you’re about to record in the DAW or UNCHECK software input monitor feature in your DAW (example of setup photos are shown below). This way, the loopback signal from your computer won't be looped, causing a feedback loop. You can also set the DIRECT MONITOR all the way to DIRECT to avoid loopback noise.

*Since there's no way to adjust the Direct Monitor level on the Saturn I interface, you can simply set it to the top "DIRECT" position if you want to capture both the input channel signal and USB audio simultaneously, and to the bottom "USB" position if you only want to monitor USB audio.

IMPORTANT!

To avoid feedback loop, we suggest MUTING the Headphone-Out and Main-Out when you are setting up the loopback feature at the first time.
